The Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) owns and publishes Iran. Iran's affiliated website is Iran Network. IRNA also publishes Iran Daily, an English-language daily newspaper, Alvefagh, an Arabic newspaper, Irane varzeshi, a sport daily newspaper, and Irane Sepid for blind people.

Since the outbreak of war in Gaza, Iran- backed groups throughout the Middle East (which sometimes refer to themselves as the “axis of resistance”) have conducted attacks against U.S. forces in Iraq and Syria and international shipping in the Red Sea, drawing retaliatory U.S. military action.

Iran's largest media corporation is Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB). The Financial Tribune is the main (online) English language economic journal.

Iran International (Persian: ایران اینترنشنال) is a Persian-language news television channel headquartered in London aimed at Iranian viewers, and broadcasting free-to-air by satellite.
